The platform

For those who learn and those who teach

The role is chosen at registration, and each has an interface of its own: a student starts with the course catalogue, a teacher with the studio. The staff, the keyboard and the sound work right in the browser.

For students

Learn step by step

  • No account needed — public lessons and tests can be taken right away; register, and what you did is kept in your account.
  • Courses and lessons in the catalogue — the authors' public material, and what your teacher opened for you.
  • Theory and exercises on the staff, on the keyboard and by ear; answers are checked at once.
  • A test after each lesson and a check after each topic show what you have learned.
  • A history of attempts: open any of them again, with the answers and solutions.
  • Results for your teacher — send your test and get a comment.

For teachers

Create courses and teach students

  • A studio for your own courses and standalone lessons: topics, steps, tests, the order they open in.
  • A graphical exercise editor with a notation editor, a rhythm editor and a preview through the student's eyes.
  • Several languages in one course: texts are entered at once for every language you chose.
  • Private or for everyone: only you and your students see your material until you publish it in the catalogue.
  • Students by invitation link, and access to private courses for those you choose.
  • Your students' results in the inbox: mark them as read and leave a comment.

How a lesson works

01

Theory

A short explanation with musical examples you can listen to. Terms explain themselves in a tooltip.

02

Practice

Exercises right after the explanation: find a note, build an interval, tap a rhythm, write a dictation.

03

Lesson test

A test ends the lesson. The result stays in your history, where you can open it again with your answers.

04

Topic check

A check after each topic brings together what you learned across several lessons.

Features

Everything for learning solfeggio

01

Staff and sound

Notes, rhythms and chords are shown on the staff and played right in the browser — with a metronome and a count of plays.

02

Ear training

Intervals, chords and scales by ear, melodic and rhythmic dictations.

03

A glossary of terms

Terms in the theory are highlighted: the explanation appears on hover or tap.

04

The teacher's studio

Your own courses and lessons in a graphical editor: staff, rhythm, a preview through the student's eyes.

05

Students and results

Invitation links, access to private lessons, test results with the teacher's comments.
